Gwyneth, our amazing host, was warm, accommodating, and smiley. the room was well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a kitchenette that had everything we needed. the breakfast, delivered right to our door, was delicious and fresh. the views of the farm and cows were beautiful, and the location was perfect for exploring western Ireland. We also appreciated the recommendation for a reliable taxi service into Bandon for dinners.

The real highlight of our stay at the Garden Lodge was the stunning natural beauty surrounding the property. We spent hours exploring Inchydoney Island Beach and Warrenscourt Wood, both of which were just a short distance away. It felt like stepping into a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Ineffective soundproofing.

What a hidden gem! Set in the beautiful countryside, this cozy B&B provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The separate bungalow-style accommodation units were well-equipped with everything you need for a self-sufficient stay, including a microwave oven and fridge. The owner, Gwyneth, was the absolute highlight of our stay - so warm, friendly, and accommodating. She went out of her way to make our experience personal and even offered to drive us around. We felt so welcome and taken care of.
Honestly, there was not much to dislike about this place. If I had to nitpick, I would say that the checkout process could have been smoother.

We stayed at a lovely guest accommodation on the edge of a charming village. The location was perfect, as it offered a peaceful setting on a working farm with beautiful prize-winning hens. The room was impeccably clean and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The bathroom was also top-notch, just like one would expect from a high-end hotel. The service provided by the host, Gwyneth, was outstanding. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even prepared delicious homemade breakfasts for us. The views of the surrounding countryside were stunning, adding to the overall appeal of the place.
The soundproofing between the rooms was not effective, which made it difficult to go to bed early if you were sensitive to noise.

The Brown Hen Lodge was a breath of fresh air! Surrounded by beautiful scenery, the room was cozy and well-equipped. Gwyneth, the owner, was incredibly helpful and her Irish breakfast was to die for. A truly wonderful stay!
Oh yes, and I just loved how I couldn't control the temperature under that heavy duvet. Sleeping in a sauna is just my idea of a relaxing night.
